Teacher of Girls’ PE

We are looking to appoint a Teacher of Girls Physical Education who has a passion for their subject and wants to inspire the next generation. This role is fixed term for a 1 year maternity cover. 

We need someone to join our successful team of PE teachers, sharing their drive in making our young people lifelong participants in sport and fitness. To be truly ‘great’ you need an environment in which pupils genuinely want to learn. An environment in which your colleagues are as passionate about your subject as you are. You will need to be determined to drive up standards, have a positive approach and be committed to making a difference. Could it be you?

We have excellent sporting facilities, including a sports centre, dance studio, field and swimming pool. Pupil behaviour, attitudes to learning and the quality of teaching and learning is very good. Our Sport faculty is fantastically well resourced and will continue to go from strength to strength.

Your skills will include:

  • Being a good classroom practitioner with a strong understanding of how children learn;
  • Having up to date subject and pedagogical knowledge;
  • Possessing a passion to make a difference in pupils’ lives and showing a commitment to school improvement.
