The role:
At Barr Beacon School, we want the best for every single child and our Teaching Assistants are vital in achieving this. We seek an enthusiastic individual who is eager to start their journey in education with a Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will work as part of the Special Educational Needs Support Team in supporting and including pupils with learning difficulties/disabilities. You will be working in the Secondary School supporting students from Year 7 to Year 11..
About you:
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, supportive and compassionate individual committed to assisting our pupils and providing a positive learning environment.
Skillset will include:
- Adequate level of literacy and numeracy (GCSE grade C or Equivalent in English & Maths);
- Knowledge of/willingness to learn about children development, education and school curriculum
- You will have good communication and IT Skills as well as being organized and having attention to detail.
