The role:
Do you enjoy the thrill of scientific experiments? Are you committed to supporting and facilitating a positive learning experience to improve the education of our students? If so, we have a great opportunity to join our dedicated Science department.

Wednesfield Academy are seeking to appoint a motivated Science Technician to provide technical support and assistance, including the preparation of tools, equipment and materials for lessons. The role forms part of a central team and you will work closely with teaching staff to support and develop the work of the department and the experiences of students.

About you:
This is a fabulous opportunity for any enthusiastic individual with a scientific interest who will work closely with the department to provide a positive and impactful learning experience. Your skills and experience will include:

  • A Level or further higher-level qualification related to Science (or relevant experience);
  • Good time-management, organisational skills and work-planning;
  • Ability to work comfortably both in a team and independently;
  • Demonstrating a passion for Science.
